A VERY REAL ISSUE
Thousands of civilians, often children, are getting injured or killed each year due to land mines. Sometimes for decades after a conflict has ended.
Land mines cost a few $ to produce, but cost 100x more to disarm. Mines are banned in 160+ countries. 85% of the victims are usually civilians.
